The Pearl Abrasive VX10 series saws have motors with thermal overload protection for increased power when cutting through tile, marble, stone, bricks and more. VX10.2REPRO saw uses a powerful 1.5 Hp, 120v, 60Hz direct-drive induction motor while the VX1048RSPRO saw uses a 1.5 Hp, 115v, 60Hz single phase motor.
